The battle system in Lightning Returns will be an updated version of the battle systems from the previous two games. Players will be able to control Lightning's movements during battle. Actions can be mapped to the buttons on the controller instead of choosing actions from a menu. Similar to the Paradigm system, Lightning will have different Styles which can be changed during battle. Each Style features a different costume, weapon, accessories, and abilities.

Final.Fantasy.IV.The.After.Years-RELOADED Update
The optimal version is the 20th-anniversary edition released for the PSP. Its sprite art is gorgeous and doesn't look jarringly cartoonish like the updates done to some of the later 2D Final Fantasy games.
While the PS2 release's main story took almost 40 hours to complete, quality-of-life updates implemented in modern ports have brought this time down considerably making it a much more palatable experience. The 'True' ending still requires a second playthrough though, and players will need to tackle the incredibly frustrating tower alignment mini-game if they're attempting a completionist run.
FINAL FANTASY III (3D REMAKE), $14.99This 3D remake of Final Fantasy III was the first version of the game available in the West. Originally released on the Nintendo DS, it made a number of changes to the game beyond simple presentation updates. Notably, the main party is comprised of named characters instead of blank slates, with additional story scenes to support that. The Job System also saw some major changes that sometimes help the player and sometimes hurt. A fascinating alternate take on the original Final Fantasy III.
Anyone who's ever played Final Fantasy XV, whether they love it or hate it, will likely agree that the game has a messy and haphazard approach to storytelling. The story was spread out across different mediums, updates, and DLC. Prior to the game's release, fans who eagerly anticipated XV got the movie Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV to hold them over.
Final Fantasy 15 launched in 2016, and since then, it changed a lot. Through various free updates and a handful of new DLC episodes, the experience has been fleshed out, especially the story.
